Visiting Other Sites Using Telnet

Under Construction!

Telnet is used to logon to another site. This could be a different directory on the same computer, or onto a completely different computer. To accomplish this you will need to know a username and a password. Once you are logged on you can modify files and generally do everything that the owner of that directory can do. Your access could, however, be restricted by a systems manager.

You can e-mail Dr. Burgess at dburgess@rivier.edu.
